MGCC Welcomes Club Pro Brad Latimer
Brad Latimer has been a golf professional for more than 18 years. He relocated from Orlando, FL where he worked at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club, Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, and Windermere Country Club as the Head Golf Professional. During his career, Brad has given more than 15,000 golf lessons and has had the privilege of learning from such prominent instructors as Phil Rodgers, Fred Griffin, Dick Tidy and Tom Toski.
Brad has had the opportunity of watching numerous tour professionals practice and play and is an accomplished tournament player himself, having traveled for 6 years on tours throughout the United States as well as Canada and Panama. He has had four career scores of 64 and shares a course record with Vijay Singh.

Established in 1922
as the Mayfield Golf & Country Club, it underwent an ownership and name
change in 2007. The club is rich in history, having held the
prestigious WKA (West Kentucky Amateur) since 1927. Such notables
as Cary Middlecoff and Russ Cochran are past winners.
